Recipe by Sejal
Ingredients:
1 lb lean thin-cut beef, sliced into strips
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup broccoli florets (blanched)
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1/2 medium onion, sliced
1-2 teaspoons Everything seasoning (or your preferred seasoning mix)
Instructions:
Prepare the Beef:
Season the thin-cut beef strips with salt, black pepper, and minced garlic.
Heat a pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the beef strips for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Prepare the Vegetables:
Blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
In the same pan, add a little oil and stir-fry the sliced mushrooms and onions over medium-high heat until they start to soften.
Add the blanched broccoli florets and toss with everything seasoning, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Combine the Beef and Veggies:
Add the cooked beef strips back into the pan with the veggies. Stir everything together and cook for another 1-2 minutes to combine the flavors.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve with steamed rice: Place a generous serving of steamed rice on a plate or in a bowl.
Top with hot beef strips: Spoon the cooked beef strips on top of the rice.
Add vegetable stir-fry on the side: Serve the stir-fried veggies on the side for a balanced meal.
