Garlic Green Beans

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed and cut

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  • Heat the Butter:
    Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.

  • Sauté the Garlic:
    Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant - do not let it burn.

  • Add the Green Beans:
    Add the cut green beans to the pan and toss to coat them in the garlic butter.

  • Season:
    Add salt and black pepper to taste.

  • Roast to Perfection:
    Cook the green beans on medium–high heat, stirring occasionally, until they are tender on the inside but still crisp and slightly charred on the outside.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve as a side dish with rice, fish, chicken, or meat.

  • Add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra freshness.

  • Sprinkle red chili flakes or toasted sesame seeds for added flavor and texture.
