Restaurant Style Chowmein
Recipe by Sejal
Instructions:
Heat sesame oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
Add finely chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add chopped green onions, sliced onion, serrano peppers (or green chili), bell pepper, and carrot. Stir-fry for a couple of minutes until vegetables begin to soften.
Add Chings Chowmein Masala (or your preferred chowmein spice mix). Add a splash of water to help cook the spices and make a flavorful base.
Stir in shredded cabbage, and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until cabbage is tender.
Add the boiled noodles to the pan, tossing to combine with the vegetables and spices.
Add soy sauce and green chili sauce (if using) and toss everything together over high heat for another minute, ensuring the noodles are well coated in the sauce.
Serve warm and enjoy your delicious homemade Chowmein!

Serving Suggestions:
Serve hot for the best taste and texture.
Add your choice of protein: You can easily customize this chowmein by adding a protein of your choice. Simply stir-fry and cook your protein (like paneer, tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp, or even tofu for a vegetarian option) in the pan before adding the vegetables. Once it's cooked through, proceed with the vegetable and noodle steps as outlined in the recipe.
