Stove Top Stuffing

Ingredients:
1 box instant stuffing mix (any brand or type)
½ cup (1 stick) butter
2–3 garlic cloves, minced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 celery stalks, finely chopped
½ tsp black pepper (adjust to taste)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1½ cups chicken broth (skip additional salt as broth is already salted)
Instructions:
In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add chopped onion and celery, and cook until softened.
Sprinkle in black pepper and cook for another minute.
Add chopped fresh parsley and cook briefly.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
Turn off the stove and add the instant stuffing mix. Slowly stir until the stuffing becomes fluffy and moist.
Serving Suggestions:
Can be baked in the oven if you want a crusted top, or serve as is.
Optionally, add small diced chicken before adding the broth, cook, then add the broth and mix for a complete meal.
Pairs well with gravy and holiday main dishes.
